Bully Stick Safety for your pup!

Dogs LOVE bully sticks. It occupies them for a while and provides excellent distraction. With the quarantine these days, you may be keeping your walks shorter than usual and bully stick is an excellent way for your dog to direct some of that excess energy left over! But did you know that bully sticks can potentially harm your dog? How? Well, the last bit of the bully stick, as you may notice is a pretty big chunk. Your dog can not hold the last chunk of bully stick with his/her paws to eat it little by little like the rest of the stick. So they just swallow it. And they can choke on it. Maybe you left your dog at home alone and gave him the bully stick to occupy him so he won't get so sad missing you. Choking on a piece of anything is very dangerous, but it is deadly if you weren't even home to notice this and help him. Imagining the scenario, I got horrified and wasted no time in purchasing the bully stick holder. My dog immediately got used to holding the bully stick holder and I was able to enjoy the peace of mind! Check out the following link for the bully stick holder I love!

For the bully sticks themselves, I never stray from Sancho and Lola's Closet bully sticks. They are made in U.S.A. This was important to me, and it was very hard to find a manufacture which make their bully sticks in U.S.A. So I was very happy when I finally came across Sancho and Lola's Closet bully sticks. Their facilities are also FDA registered and their bully sticks are HUMAN GRADE. To check out these bully sticks, click on the link below!

Paw Tip: If you find that some of the bully sticks are too thick to fit in the bully stick holder, putting the end of it under the running water for few minuets will soften it and make it malleable enough to fit into the holder!
